Phew!  I think we finally were able to work up a logo that please all of the Associates with K.A.S.I.

This logo will be on shirts, as well as all of their marketing material.  I did several variations for them to choose from.  See a previous option here.  I like the layout of this one best.  

The one they chose was the same concept but, the text is all on one line to the right.

Dance Photography | Jerome, Idaho

I was asked by the Jerome, ID, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake if I would photograph their Valentines Dance last Friday.  I had a great time meeting all of  you and working side by side with my husband of almost 9 years!  I knew there was a lot more involved than pushing a camera button and even though I have assisted other photographers with large dances like this before, I was so grateful to experience it on my own.  I actually loved it!  I hope to photograph many more dances in the future!  :)  Here are a few beautiful faces of the hundreds of people of all ages I photographed Friday evening.

I'm sure this couple had a blast taking the opportunity to make the night special by renting a tux and buying a gown. What a way to make memories and create a special Valentines Day.

This lovely lady is also a photographer and teaches Photography at The College of Southern Idaho. I was honored that she called and booked a session with me for their family portraits in March and I'm shakin' in my boots all at the same time. lol! :o)  I hope I don't screw up too bad.  haha!

I had a fun time with him & his buddies last fall as we took pix of the Senior Offensive lineman.

This time Ross came in to take some fun images to remember his love for skiing and more football images. I just got this new backdrop and I thought these turned out pretty cool.

I've been working on a logo tonight for the Kidney Association of Southern Idaho.  Their website colors are red and blue so, we needed to stick to the color scheme and often they are referred to as KASI.

It's important to do your research when you are designing a logo for items you are unfamiliar with.  Tonight I learned from an R.N. friend of mine that a kidney actually does look like a kidney bean.  

Hmmm!   Go figure!

I had a client call me from Houston who had got my name from a local print company in Twin Falls last week.  Here is one of the logo designs I put together for them.  They will be selling control panels that help conserve energy.  You may see this logo on a truck at a stop light someday.  haha!  Thanks for the oportunity to help you out EvenGreen!  Great working with you!

Jerome, Idaho | "Hot Momma" Portraits

Over the weekend I had one of my husband's co-workers travel from Boise to take some "Hot Momma" pictures of her & her babies to give to her sweetie for Valentine's day.  It was so much fun for me to be able to take pictures and watch her reaction & for her to get excited about how "Hot" she looked in the pictures!  I hope to get more "Hot Momma's" in the studio soon.  'Cuz you KNOW your man would LOVE these!  :)  And we're only young once right?  Here are a few of my favorites!

I had a great time working with these little cutie-pa-tudies Saturday.  I was able to shoot for the 1st time with my new lighting set up and one of many new backdrops.  These kiddos were so funny!  I loved watching them come in so timid and within minutes being completely relaxed with me letting me pose them and take their pictures.  Here's my 2nd shoot in the new studio.




Bribery! It's a good thing! We all know 2 year olds have a mind of their own. I should know..... I've had 3 of them. :) Mom handed little man her iphone and we were able to capture his favorite pass time. It was great!  Check out that little smirk on his face!  He was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.


I absolutely ADORE this shot!  I'm pretty sure I will be mounting it huge in my studio for all the world to see!
I love that mom brought in their favorite books to create a sentimental image.


I'm loving being in the studio and am so excited to what I now have to offer all of you!  I'm open by appointment only but, I'd love for you all to stop by and check us out!  Give me a call and I'll let  you know when I'll be in the office.  Down the road I'll be there for set hours and certain days of the week.  But, for now this is what works best.  Thank You so much for all your referrals!  You guys are the best!  I just got to thinking I sure have used the word "love" a ton in this post!  What can I say?  It's been a great week and I'm a little on cloud nine this week.  Have a great Valentines Day weekend!

Phew!  We're all moved in to the studio!  We've been in for a week now and what I thought would be a slow month for us has been completely the opposite.  So far I've had 5 portrait sessions and 1 logo design in 8 days.  It's been wonderful!  One of my awesome mom's of the J-town Senior wrestlers asked me to add 2 more guys onto the picture we did a few months ago.  These guys were taken 3 different times & in 3 different lighting situations so, it was a challenge to get the lighting similar but, I did what I could to pull it off. Next time it will be great to just do them in the studio!
